وَقَالَ الْحَارِثُ : حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ الْمُحَبَّرِ ، ثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنِ الْكَلْبِيِّ ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ السَّائِبِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : لَا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى تَعْبُدَ الْعَرَبُ مَا كَانَتْ تَعْبُدُ آبَاؤُهَا مِائَةً وَخَمْسِينَ عَامًا .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The Hour will not be established until the Arabs once again worship those (false deities) which their forefathers worshipped (in the Age of Ignorance) for one hundred and fifty years."
The chain of this report is severely weak and unreliable, because it contains narrators such as Dawud bin al-Muhabbar and Muhammad bin al-Sa'ib al-Kalbi, who are regarded by the hadith scholars as severely discredited and matruk (abandoned) in hadith.
