It is narrated from Umayr bin Ishaq that he mentioned something with the same meaning as the previous narration.
And in his narration he related these words: "Allah Almighty has certainly granted my grandfather (the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him) far too much honour and dignity for his likeness to be given as that of a mule." The narrator said: Then the messenger set off, and Sayyiduna al-Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) met him coming towards him. It was a trait of his (may Allah be pleased with him) that once he resolved upon something, he would not deviate from it in the slightest. The narrator related that Sayyiduna al-Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Indeed, I have sworn an oath (in this matter)." Then Sayyiduna al-Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him) said (to the messenger): "Tell him, for when al-Husayn insists on something, he insists on it completely."
The narrator said: This saying of Sayyiduna al-Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) weighed extremely heavily on Marwan, that is, his words: "Hold your two shoulders," to the end of the hadith.
