It is narrated from the father of al-Qasim bin Mukhawwal al-Bahzi (Mukhawwal) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), narrating to us, said: "Soon a time will come upon people in which the best wealth (of a Muslim) will be goats between the two mosques (of Makkah and Madinah); they will graze on the leaves of trees and come down to the watering places. Their owner will take nourishment from their fresh milk, drink their milk, and make clothing from their wool" or he said "from their hair; meanwhile fitnahs will be rearing their heads violently among the roots and centres of the Arabs. By Allah, they will pay them no heed." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said these words three times.
