وَقَالَ إِسْحَاقُ : أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى ، حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ الْكُوفِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي حَرِيزٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سَلَامٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ، إِنَّا نَجِدُكَ قَائِمًا عِنْدَ رَبِّكَ ، مُحْمَارَّةً وَجْنَتَاكَ ، مُسْتَحْيِيًا مِنْ رَبِّكَ مِمَّا أَحْدَثَتْ أُمَّتُكَ مِنْ بَعْدِكَ .
هَذَا إِسْنَادٌ حَسَنٌ .
هَذَا إِسْنَادٌ حَسَنٌ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Salam (may Allah be pleased with him) that he submitted (in the court of Prophethood): "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! Indeed, we find you described (in the earlier scriptures) as standing (on the Day of Resurrection) before your Lord in such a state that your blessed cheeks will be reddened (from intense emotion and modesty), and you will be feeling deep shame before your Lord because of the (evil) deeds that your Ummah will have innovated after you."
