قَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ الزَّهْرَانِيُّ ، ثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنِ الْجَعْدِ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ ، قَالَ : ( مَرَّ بِنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ فِي مَسْجِدِ بَنِي ثَعْلَبَةَ فَقَالَ : أَصَلَّيْتُمْ ؟ قُلْنَا : نَعَمْ - وَذَلِكَ فِي صَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ - فَأَمَرَ رَجُلًا فَأَذَّنَ وَأَقَامَ ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى بِأَصْحَابِهِ ) .

Al-Ja'd Abu Uthman narrates from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him): Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) passed by us in the mosque of Banu Tha'labah and asked: "Have you people already prayed?" We said: "Yes!" And this happened at the time of the Fajr prayer. So he ordered a man, who gave the adhan and the iqamah, and then he (may Allah be pleased with him) led his companions and prayed with them.
