It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him): "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had broad and long forearms. There was breadth between his (peace and blessings be upon him) two shoulders (that is, he was broad-shouldered). His (peace and blessings be upon him) eyelashes were long and thick. He (peace and blessings be upon him) was not one who shouted and raised a clamour in the markets. In his (peace and blessings be upon him) noble person there was neither obscene speech, nor was he (peace and blessings be upon him) one who affected foul language. He (peace and blessings be upon him) would turn with his whole blessed body (when turning towards someone during conversation), and (when turning back) he would also turn away with his whole pure body."
Imam Abu Dawud al-Tayalisi narrated it in his Musnad. Its chain contains a narrator named Salih, the freed slave of al-Taw'amah, about whom there is criticism because of the confusion (ikhtilat, weakness of memory) that affected his memory in his last years; however, supporting reports for these blessed attributes exist in other reliable hadith and in the books of Shama'il.
