وَقَالَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ : حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَمَّنْ سَمِعَ عَمَّارًا - وَذَكَرَ رَجُلٌ عِنْدَهُ عَائِشَةَ - رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا - فَنَالَ مِنْهَا - فَقَالَ عَمَّارٌ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ : اسْكُتْ مَقْبُوحًا مَنْبُوحًا ، أَتُؤْذِي حَبِيبَةَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ . ؟
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ammar bin Yasir (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man mentioned the Mother of the Believers, Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her), in his presence and spoke insolently of her and found fault with her. Sayyiduna Ammar (may Allah be pleased with him) rebuked him sharply and said: "Be quiet, you ugly and outcast one! Do you hurt the beloved of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)?"
Imam al-Tayalisi recorded this report in his Musnad; although one narrator in its chain is unnamed, this stance of Sayyiduna Ammar (may Allah be pleased with him) in defence of Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) is also established by other sahih reports.
