وَقَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى : حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ مَعْرُوفٍ ، ثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ ، عَنْ مُجَالِدٍ ، عَنْ عَامِرٍ ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ - رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا - قَالَتْ : دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَنَا أَبْكِي ، فَقَالَ : مَا يُبْكِيكِ ؟ قُلْتُ : سَبَّتْنِي فَاطِمَةُ - رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا - فَقَالَ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : يَا فَاطِمَةُ ، سَبَبْتِ عَائِشَةَ ؟ قَالَتْ : نَعَمْ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ، قَالَ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : أَلَيْسَ تُحِبِّينَ مَنْ أُحِبُّ وَتُبْغِضِينَ مَنْ أُبْغِضُ ؟ قَالَتْ : بَلَى ، قَالَ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : فَإِنِّي أُحِبُّ عَائِشَةَ ، فَأَحِبِّيهَا .
قَالَتْ فَاطِمَةُ - رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا - : لَا نَقُولُ لِعَائِشَةَ - رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا - شَيْئًا يُؤْذِيهَا أَبَدًا .
قَالَتْ فَاطِمَةُ - رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا - : لَا نَقُولُ لِعَائِشَةَ - رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا - شَيْئًا يُؤْذِيهَا أَبَدًا .
It is narrated from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came to me while I was weeping, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "What has made you weep?" I said: "Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) has spoken ill of me." So he (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "O Fatimah, did you speak ill of Aishah?" She said: "Yes, O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do you not love whom I love and dislike whom I dislike?" She said: "Of course (I certainly do)." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Then I love Aishah, so you too should love her."
Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: "We will never say anything to Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that hurts her."
