قَالَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ : حَدَّثَنَا جِسْرِ بْنِ فَرْقَدٍ ، ثَنَا سَلِيطُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ : بَايَعَ جَدُّ أَبِي رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sulayt bin Abdullah bin Yasar al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: "My father's grandfather pledged allegiance at the blessed hand of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)."
Imam Abu Dawud al-Tayalisi recorded it in his Musnad; there is weakness in its chain because of the narrator Jisr bin Farqad in it.
