Imam Sa'id bin al-Musayyib (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from a man who informed him that he had never heard a voice stronger and louder than that of Sayyiduna Abu Sufyan (may Allah be pleased with him) on the day of the Battle of Yarmuk; he was standing under the banner of his son and calling out: "This is one of the (momentous) days of Allah Almighty. 'Allahumma anzil nasrak' (O Allah, send down Your help and victory)."
4047/1 - Ishaq bin Rahwayh (may Allah have mercy on him) says: I asked Abu Usamah: Did Mis'ar narrate this hadith to you from Sa'd bin Ibrahim, from Sa'id bin al-Musayyib, from the man who heard Sayyiduna Abu Sufyan (may Allah be pleased with him) on the day of Yarmuk? And Abu Usamah affirmed it.
4047/2 - On another occasion Mis'ar said about this same hadith: The man who himself heard Sayyiduna Abu Sufyan (may Allah be pleased with him) on the day of Yarmuk told us, then he mentioned the same as the previous narration, and Abu Usamah confirmed it.
