وَقَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبَّادٍ ، ثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ صَدَقَةَ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ غَزِيَّةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ : كُنْتُ عِنْدَ بَيْتِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي نَفَرٍ مِنَ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ وَالْأَنْصَارِ - رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمْ - فَخَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ : " أَلَا أُخْبِرُكُمْ بِخِيَارِكُمْ ؟ " قَالُوا : بَلَى . قَالَ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : فَإِنَّ خِيَارَكُمُ الْمُوفُونَ الْمُطَيِّبُونَ ، إِنَّ اللهَ تَعَالَى يُحِبُّ الْحَفِيَّ التَّقِيَّ قَالَ : وَمَرَّ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ ، فَقَالَ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " الْحَقُّ مَعَ ذَا ، الْحَقُّ مَعَ ذَا .
( 168 ) وَحَدِيثُهُ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ فِي قِصَّةِ بِنْتِ حَمْزَةَ - رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا - تَقَدَّمَ فِي الْحَضَانَةِ .
( 168 ) وَحَدِيثُهُ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ فِي قِصَّةِ بِنْتِ حَمْزَةَ - رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا - تَقَدَّمَ فِي الْحَضَانَةِ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him): I was near the house of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) with a group of the Muhajirun and the Ansar (may Allah be pleased with them), when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came out to us and asked: "Shall I not tell you about the best of you?" The Companions said: Of course (O Messenger of Allah, please tell us). He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, the best of you are those who are 'al-mufuna al-mutayyibun' (those who fulfil their promises and covenants and who are pure in character and conduct). Indeed, Allah Almighty loves 'al-hafiyy al-taqiyy' (the person who is most kind (well-mannered) and God-fearing and pious)." The narrator says: Meanwhile Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) passed by there, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said (pointing towards him): "The truth is with this one, the truth is with this one."
(168) And the hadith narrated from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) concerning the story of the daughter of Sayyiduna Hamzah (may Allah be pleased with them both) has already passed in the section on custody and upbringing.
