قَالَ إِسْحَاقُ : أَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، ثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، وَعَنْ أَبِي يَزِيدَ الْمَدَنِيِّ ، قَالَا : لَمَّا أُهْدِيَتْ فَاطِمَةُ إِلَى عَلِيٍّ ... الْحَدِيثَ
وَقَدْ تَقَدَّمَ فِي كِتَابِ النِّكَاحِ ، وَفِيهِ : فَقَالَ : يَا فَاطِمَةُ ، إِنِّي لَمْ آلُ أَنْ أُنْكِحَكِ أَحَبَّ أَهْلِي إِلَيَّ .
وَقَدْ تَقَدَّمَ فِي كِتَابِ النِّكَاحِ ، وَفِيهِ : فَقَالَ : يَا فَاطِمَةُ ، إِنِّي لَمْ آلُ أَنْ أُنْكِحَكِ أَحَبَّ أَهْلِي إِلَيَّ .
It is narrated from Ikrimah and Abu Yazid al-Madani (may Allah have mercy on them both) that when Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) was brought to the house of Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) (after the wedding) (the full hadith), and in it is narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Fatimah! Indeed, I spared no effort in marrying you to the one among my family who is most beloved to me."
