وَقَالَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ .
3755 \ 2 - وَقَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى : حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ السَّامِيُّ ، ثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ ، عَنْ مُصْعَبِ بْنِ ثَابِتِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ - رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ - ، قَالَ : إِنَّ أَبَا بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقَ - رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ - طَلَّقَ امْرَأَتَهُ قُتَيْلَةَ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ ، وَهِيَ أُمُّ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ - رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا - ، فَقَدِمَتْ عَلَيْهِمْ فِي الْمُدَّةِ الَّتِي كَانَتْ بَيْنَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَبَيْنَ كُفَّارِ قُرَيْشٍ ، فَأَهْدَتْ إِلَى أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ - رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا - قُرْطًا وَأَشْيَاءَ ، فَكَرِهَتْ أَنْ تَقْبَلَ مِنْهَا ، حَتَّى أَتَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَذَكَرَتْ ذَلِكَ لَهُ ، فَأَنْزَلَ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ : لا يَنْهَاكُمُ اللهُ عَنِ الَّذِينَ لَمْ يُقَاتِلُوكُمْ فِي الدِّينِ . لَفْظُ أَبِي دَاوُدَ .
وَفِي رِوَايَةِ الْآخَرِ : قَدِمَتْ قُتَيْلَةُ بِنْتُ عَبْدِ الْعُزَّى بْنِ أَسَدٍ مِنْ بَنِي مَالِكِ بْنِ حِسْلٍ عَلَى بِنْتِهَا أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ - رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا - بِهَدَايَا : ضِبَابٍ ، وَسَمْنٍ ، وَأَقِطٍ ، فَلَمْ تَقْبَلْ هَدَايَاهَا ، وَلَمْ تُدْخِلْهَا بَيْتَهَا ، فَسَأَلَتْ لَهَا عَائِشَةُ - رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا - النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ ذَلِكَ ، فَقَالَ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : لا يَنْهَاكُمُ اللهُ عَنِ الَّذِينَ لَمْ يُقَاتِلُوكُمْ فِي الدِّينِ - الْآيَةَ ، فَأَدْخَلَتْهَا مَنْزِلَهَا ، وَقَبِلَتْ هَدَايَاهَا .
3755 \ 2 - وَقَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى : حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ السَّامِيُّ ، ثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ ، عَنْ مُصْعَبِ بْنِ ثَابِتِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ - رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ - ، قَالَ : إِنَّ أَبَا بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقَ - رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ - طَلَّقَ امْرَأَتَهُ قُتَيْلَةَ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ ، وَهِيَ أُمُّ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ - رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا - ، فَقَدِمَتْ عَلَيْهِمْ فِي الْمُدَّةِ الَّتِي كَانَتْ بَيْنَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَبَيْنَ كُفَّارِ قُرَيْشٍ ، فَأَهْدَتْ إِلَى أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ - رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا - قُرْطًا وَأَشْيَاءَ ، فَكَرِهَتْ أَنْ تَقْبَلَ مِنْهَا ، حَتَّى أَتَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَذَكَرَتْ ذَلِكَ لَهُ ، فَأَنْزَلَ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ : لا يَنْهَاكُمُ اللهُ عَنِ الَّذِينَ لَمْ يُقَاتِلُوكُمْ فِي الدِّينِ . لَفْظُ أَبِي دَاوُدَ .
وَفِي رِوَايَةِ الْآخَرِ : قَدِمَتْ قُتَيْلَةُ بِنْتُ عَبْدِ الْعُزَّى بْنِ أَسَدٍ مِنْ بَنِي مَالِكِ بْنِ حِسْلٍ عَلَى بِنْتِهَا أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ - رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا - بِهَدَايَا : ضِبَابٍ ، وَسَمْنٍ ، وَأَقِطٍ ، فَلَمْ تَقْبَلْ هَدَايَاهَا ، وَلَمْ تُدْخِلْهَا بَيْتَهَا ، فَسَأَلَتْ لَهَا عَائِشَةُ - رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا - النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ ذَلِكَ ، فَقَالَ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : لا يَنْهَاكُمُ اللهُ عَنِ الَّذِينَ لَمْ يُقَاتِلُوكُمْ فِي الدِّينِ - الْآيَةَ ، فَأَدْخَلَتْهَا مَنْزِلَهَا ، وَقَبِلَتْ هَدَايَاهَا .
Amir bin Abdullah bin al-Zubayr narrates from his father, Sayyiduna Abdullah bin al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with them both), that Sayyiduna Abu Bakr al-Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) had divorced his wife Qutaylah in the Days of Ignorance; she was the mother of Sayyidah Asma' bint Abi Bakr (may Allah be pleased with her). Then she came to them during the interim period (the truce of Hudaybiyah) that was agreed between the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and the disbelievers of Quraysh. She brought earrings and some other things as gifts for Sayyidah Asma' (may Allah be pleased with her), but she refrained from accepting them until she came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and mentioned it to him. Then Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, revealed this verse: "Allah does not forbid you from those who did not fight you over religion" [Surah al-Mumtahanah: 8]. These are the words of Abu Dawud.
And in the other narration: Qutaylah bint Abd al-Uzza bin Asad, who belonged to Banu Malik bin Hisl, came to her daughter Sayyidah Asma' bint Abi Bakr (may Allah be pleased with her) with some gifts, which included lizards (lizard meat), clarified butter and dried cheese. But she did not accept her gifts, nor did she let her enter her house. Then Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about this matter on her behalf, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah does not forbid you (from being kind to) those who did not fight you over religion", as Allah Almighty says: "Allah does not forbid you from those who did not fight you over religion" [Surah al-Mumtahanah: 8]. So after that she let her mother into her house and accepted her gifts as well.
