وَقَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى : حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ الدَّوْرَقِيُّ ، ثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمُقْرِئُ ، عَنْ أَبِي رَجَاءٍ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ وَاقِدٍ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ - رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ - ، فِي قَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى : تَحِيَّتُهُمْ يَوْمَ يَلْقَوْنَهُ سَلامٌ - قَالَ : يَوْمَ يَلْقَوْنَ مَلَكَ الْمَوْتِ ، لَيْسَ مِنْ مُؤْمِنٍ يَقْبِضُ رُوحَهُ إِلَّا سَلَّمَ عَلَيْهِ .
( 155 ) حَدِيثُ حُذَيْفَةَ - رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ - فِي نُزُولِ قَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى : يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اذْكُرُوا نِعْمَةَ اللهِ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذْ جَاءَتْكُمْ جُنُودٌ - يَأْتِي إِنْ شَاءَ اللهُ تَعَالَى فِي الْمَغَازِي ، فِي غَزْوَةِ الْخَنْدَقِ .
( 155 ) حَدِيثُ حُذَيْفَةَ - رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ - فِي نُزُولِ قَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى : يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اذْكُرُوا نِعْمَةَ اللهِ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذْ جَاءَتْكُمْ جُنُودٌ - يَأْتِي إِنْ شَاءَ اللهُ تَعَالَى فِي الْمَغَازِي ، فِي غَزْوَةِ الْخَنْدَقِ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna al-Bara' bin Azib (may Allah be pleased with him) concerning this saying of Allah Almighty: "Their greeting on the Day they meet Him will be: Peace" [Surah al-Ahzab: 44], that he said: "It refers to the day when they will meet the Angel of Death, for there is no believer whose soul is taken but that angel greets him with peace."
The hadith narrated from Sayyiduna Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) concerning the revelation of this saying of Allah Almighty: "O you who have believed, remember the favour of Allah upon you when armies came to you" [Surah al-Ahzab: 9] will come, if Allah Almighty wills, in the Book of Military Expeditions, in the chapter on the Battle of the Trench.
