وَقَالَ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ : حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، ثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، وَعِكْرِمَةَ ، فِي قَوْلِهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ : وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَا مُوسَى تِسْعَ آيَاتٍ بَيِّنَاتٍ قَالَ : السِّنِينُ : حَبَسَ عَنْهُمُ الْمَطَرَ ، وَنَقْصٌ مِنَ الثَّمَرَاتِ ، وَالطُّوفَانُ ، وَالْجَرَادُ ، وَالْقُمَّلُ وَالضَّفَادِعُ ، وَالدَّمُ ، وَعَصَاهُ ، وَيَدُهُ .
It is narrated from Abu Salih and Ikrimah (may Allah have mercy on them both) concerning the saying of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic: "And We certainly gave Musa nine clear signs" [Surah al-Isra': 101], that they said: "What is meant by these nine signs is the years of famine in which rain was withheld from them, the decrease in the yield of fruits, the flood, the locusts, the lice, the frogs, the blood, the staff of Musa (peace be upon him) and his shining hand."
