وَقَالَ مُسَدَّدٌ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ الْمُخْتَارِ ، ( حَدَّثَنِي طَلْقُ ) بْنُ حَبِيبٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا يَقُولُ : لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ الدُّخَانَ فِي مَسْجِدِ الضِّرَارِ حَيْثُ انْهَارَ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he said: "I certainly saw smoke rising from Masjid al-Dirar, from the place where it had collapsed."
Imam Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani narrated it in al-Matalib al-'Aliyah, and its chain is sahih (authentic).
