[قَالَ] إِسْحَاقُ : أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ رَبِّهِ ، عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ ، عَنْ مُعَاذٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ [قَالَ] : " جَنِّبُوا مَسَاجِدَكُمْ صِبْيَانَكُمْ وَمَجَانِينَكُمْ ، وَإِقَامَةَ حُدُودِكُمْ ، وَسَلَّ سُيُوفِكُمْ ، وَبَيْعَكُمْ ، وَخُصُومَتَكُمْ ، وَجَمِّرُوهَا يَوْمَ جُمَعِكُمْ ، وَاجْعَلُوا عَلَى أَبْوَابِهَا الْمَطَاهِرَ " .
هَذَا مُنْقَطِعٌ .

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Mu'adh (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Keep your mosques away from your young children who lack understanding, your insane, the carrying out of the legal punishments (hudud), the drawing of swords from their sheaths, buying and selling, and your quarrels and disputes; perfume your mosques with the smoke of incense on the day of Jumu'ah, and set up places of ablution at their doors for purification."
