Al-Matalib al-'Aliyah 3429Q — Prohibition of supplicating for a trial

(136) Earlier, in the Book of Medicine, in the chapter on the virtue of visiting the sick (Bab Fadl al-'Iyadah), the hadith of Kathir from Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) has already been given. He relates: "Whenever the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) missed one of his brothers (the Companions) for three days, he would ask about him" (to the end of the hadith).
