It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), narrating from his Lord, the Mighty and Majestic, related that Allah, Glorified and Exalted, said: "There are four traits: one of them is exclusively for Me, one is for you, one is shared between Me and you, and one is between you and My other servants. As for the trait that is exclusively for Me, it is that you worship Me alone and do not associate anyone with Me. As for the one that is for you, it is that whatever good deed you do, I will give you its full recompense and reward. As for the matter that is between Me and you, it is that from you comes supplication and entreaty, and upon Me is to honour it with acceptance. And as for the trait that is between you and My servants, it is that you like for people the same as you like for yourself."
The chain of this hadith contains Salih bin Bashir al-Murri, a da'if (weak) narrator, on account of which this narration is weak in its chain; however, meanings like its final part are established in other sahih (authentic) hadith.
