قَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نَشِيطٍ ، ثَنَا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ ، عَنْ ضَمْرَةَ بْنِ حَبِيبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " إِنَّ اللهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يُحِبُّ كُلَّ قَلْبٍ حَزِينٍ " .
3242 \ 2 - وَقَالَ الْبَزَّارُ : حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ ، ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ، ثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ ضَمْرَةَ ، بِهِ .
وَقَالَ : لَا نَعْلَمُهُ إِلَّا بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ .
وَصَحَّحَهُ الْحَاكِمُ .
3242 \ 2 - وَقَالَ الْبَزَّارُ : حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ ، ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ، ثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ ضَمْرَةَ ، بِهِ .
وَقَالَ : لَا نَعْلَمُهُ إِلَّا بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ .
وَصَحَّحَهُ الْحَاكِمُ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu al-Darda' (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, loves every heart that is sorrowful (out of the fear of Allah or concern for the Hereafter)."
Imam al-Bazzar (may Allah have mercy on him) said that Umar bin al-Khattab, Abdullah bin Salih and Mu'awiyah bin Salih narrated this hadith to us through Damrah with these same words; he also stated that to our knowledge this hadith is narrated only with this chain. And Imam al-Hakim (may Allah have mercy on him) declared this hadith sahih (authentic).
