قَالَ الْحُمَيْدِيُّ : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سُوقَةَ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ قَالَ : " إِنَّ اللهَ تَعَالَى لَيَحْفَظُ الرَّجُلَ الصَّالِحَ فِي وَلَدِهِ ، وَوَلَدِ وَلَدِهِ ، وَدُوَيْرَتِهِ الَّتِي وُلِدَ فِيهَا ، وَالدُّوَيْرَاتِ حَوْلَهُ ، فَلَا يَزَالُونَ فِي حِفْظٍ " .
قَالَ سُفْيَانُ : وَأَرَى فِيهِ : وَسِتْرٍ .

It is narrated from Muhammad bin al-Munkadir (may Allah have mercy on him) that he said: "Indeed, through the blessing of a righteous and pious person, Allah Almighty protects his children, his children's children, the house in which he was born and the houses around it, so they remain continually under Allah's protection."
Imam Sufyan bin Uyaynah (may Allah have mercy on him) said: I think this word is also included in this report: "And (they all remain under Allah's) veil of concealment and well-being."
