Al-Matalib al-'Aliyah 3151 — Warning about the Day of Resurrection

It is narrated from Muharib bin Dithar that two men came to him with their dispute, and a man testified against one of them. The one against whom testimony had been given said: "By Allah! To my knowledge this man is indeed truthful, and if you ask about him, only praise and commendation will be given of him; yet he has given false testimony against me, and I do not know what has emboldened him to it." Then Muharib said: "O man! Fear Allah, for I heard Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) say that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), while admonishing a man that day, said: 'And indeed, on the Day of Resurrection the bird will beat its wings (in fear) and throw up whatever is in its belly, even though it has no claim or enmity against anyone.'"
Al-Harith narrated it in the same way in abridged form through Asim bin Ali from Muhammad bin al-Furat, at the end of which are these words: "And it will have no right or claim."
