ثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، ثَنَا دُوَيْدٌ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْوَاحِدِ قَالَ : قَالَ عِيسَى بْنُ مَرْيَمَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ : " يَا بَنِي آدَمَ ، لِدُوا لِلْمَوْتِ وَابْنُوا لِلْخَرَابِ ، تَفْنَى أَرْوَاحُكُمْ ، وَتَبْقَى دِيَارُكُمْ " .
It is narrated from Abd al-Wahid that Isa bin Maryam (peace be upon him) said: "O children of Adam! Give birth (to children) for death and build (buildings) for desolation and ruin; your souls will perish, but your homes and dwellings will remain (after you)."
