It is narrated from Sayyidah Fatimah, daughter of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) looked towards Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) and said: "This one is in Paradise. And indeed, among those who claim to belong to his party there will be a people who will recognise Islam and then abandon it. They will have a particular nickname: they will be called the Rafidah. So whoever meets them should know that they are polytheists."
The chain of this narration contains Abu al-Jahhaf Dawud bin Abi Awf, and this narration has been declared weak and munkar (rejected) in both its chain and its text.
