It is narrated from Imam al-Hasan al-Basri (may Allah have mercy on him) as mursal from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he (peace and blessings be upon him) said the like of it (with the same meaning as the previous narration) and added: "And when the stars (and their influences) are mentioned, refrain (from talk and debate)."
This narration is mursal, because al-Hasan al-Basri (may Allah have mercy on him) is a Successor (Tabi'i). The 'anwa' in the hadith refers to the pre-Islamic belief that attributed rain to the movement of the stars; that is why the command was given to keep silent in such debates.
