وَقَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى : حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْجَوْهَرِيُّ ، ثَنَا أَصْرَمُ بْنُ حَوْشَبٍ ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِذَا كَانَ الْفَيْءُ ذِرَاعًا وَنِصْفًا إِلَى ذِرَاعَيْنِ فَصَلُّوا الظُّهْرَ " .
[12] وَحَدِيثُ أَبِي مَحْذُورَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ سَبَقَ فِي الْأَذَانِ .

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When the shadow (of a thing, after the zenith) reaches from one and a half cubits to two cubits, then pray the Zuhr prayer."
And the hadith of Sayyiduna Abu Mahdhurah (may Allah be pleased with him) has already passed in the Book of the Adhan.
