Imam Muhammad al-Baqir narrates that Sayyidah Umm Ayman (may Allah be pleased with her) was a servant of the mother (Sayyidah Mariyah al-Qibtiyyah, may Allah be pleased with her) of Sayyiduna Ibrahim (may Allah be pleased with him), the beloved son of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Whenever she entered the house she would say: "Salamun la 'alaykum," meaning "No peace be upon you." So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) granted her a special concession and permission to say: "As-salamu 'alaykum," meaning "Peace be upon you."
Imam Ishaq bin Rahwayh recorded this narration in his Musnad, and in terms of its chain it is mursal.
