وَقَالَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ : حَدَّثَنَا طَلْحَةُ ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ : إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَهَا : " يَا عَائِشَةُ ، إِنَّ الْفُحْشَ لَوْ كَانَ رَجُلًا لَكَانَ رَجُلَ سَوْءٍ " .
رَوَاهُ أَبُو الشَّيْخِ ، وَزَادَ : " وَلَوْ كَانَ الْحَيَاءُ رَجُلًا لَكَانَ رَجُلًا صَالِحًا " .
رَوَاهُ أَبُو الشَّيْخِ ، وَزَادَ : " وَلَوْ كَانَ الْحَيَاءُ رَجُلًا لَكَانَ رَجُلًا صَالِحًا " .
It is narrated from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to her: "O Aishah, if obscenity and indecency were in human form, it would certainly be an evil man."
Abu al-Shaykh recorded it and added these words: "And if modesty and bashfulness were in human form, it would certainly be a most righteous and pious man."
