قَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى : حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الطَّحَّانُ الْكُوفِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ خُثَيْمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، عَنِ السَّرِيِّ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ ، عَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ عُجْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَلَا أُخْبِرُكُمْ بِرِجَالِكُمْ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ ؟ النَّبِيُّ فِي الْجَنَّةِ ، وَالشَّهِيدُ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ ، وَالصِّدِّيقُ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ ، وَالْمَوْلُودُ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ ، وَالرَّجُلُ يَزُورُ أَخَاهُ فِي اللهِ تَعَالَى فِي جَانِبِ الْمِصْرِ فِي الْجَنَّةِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ka'b bin Ujrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Shall I not tell you about those of your men who are among the people of Paradise? The prophet is in Paradise, the martyr is among the people of Paradise, the siddiq (the truthful one) is among the people of Paradise, the child (who dies in infancy) is among the people of Paradise, and the man who goes to visit and meet his (Muslim) brother in a far corner of the city purely for the pleasure of Allah Almighty is also among the people of Paradise."
Imam Abu Ya'la recorded it; its chain contains a narrator named al-Sari bin Isma'il, who is severely weak and matruk (abandoned), so this chain is weak, although the matters mentioned in the text of the hadith are established by other sahih hadiths.
