وَقَالَ مُسَدَّدٌ أَيْضًا : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ دَاوُدَ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ عُثْمَانَ ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ طَلْحَةَ ، عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ : أَنَّهُ كَانَ لَا يَرَى بَأْسًا بِأَكْلِ الْجُبْنِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Talhah bin Ubaydullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that "he saw no harm, objection or impropriety of any kind in eating cheese; that is, in his view eating it was entirely lawful and permissible in the Shari'ah."
Imam Musaddad bin Musarhad (may Allah have mercy on him) narrated this report in his Musnad; in its chain Musa bin Talhah transmits this permissibility from his father, Sayyiduna Talhah bin Ubaydullah (may Allah be pleased with him), and all of its narrators are reliable and thiqat (trustworthy).
