قَالَ مُسَدَّدٌ : حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ ، عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَنَّهُ [حُمَّ] فَنُعِتَ لَهُ لَحْمُ الثَّعْلَبِ فَكَرِهَهُ ، وَقَالَ : إِنَّهُ سَبُعٌ .
Musaddad (may Allah have mercy on him) narrated that Hushaym narrated from Mughirah, and he from Ibrahim al-Nakha'i (may Allah have mercy on him), that he fell ill (with a fever) and fox meat was prescribed for him (as a remedy), but he disliked it and said: "Indeed, it is a beast of prey."
