وَقَالَ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ : حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ ، [ أَنَا ] أَيُّوبُ أَبُو الْعَلَاءِ ، ثَنَا أَبُو سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّهُ كَرِهَ أَنْ يَذْبَحَ النُّسُكَ إِلَّا مُسْلِمٌ " .
2292 \ 2 - حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ ، أَنَا يُونُسُ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بِهِ .
2292 \ 3 - حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ ، أَنَا مُغِيرَةُ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَلَيْثٍ ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ : أَنَّهُمَا كَرِهَا ذَلِكَ .
2292 \ 4 - حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ ، أَنَا حَجَّاجٌ ، عَنْ قَابُوسَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ كَذَلِكَ .
2292 \ 5 - حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ ، أَنَا لَيْثٌ ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ ، وَمُجَاهِدٍ ، وَبَيَانَ ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ أَنَّهُمْ كَرِهُوا ذَلِكَ .
2292 \ 2 - حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ ، أَنَا يُونُسُ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بِهِ .
2292 \ 3 - حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ ، أَنَا مُغِيرَةُ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَلَيْثٍ ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ : أَنَّهُمَا كَرِهَا ذَلِكَ .
2292 \ 4 - حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ ، أَنَا حَجَّاجٌ ، عَنْ قَابُوسَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ كَذَلِكَ .
2292 \ 5 - حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ ، أَنَا لَيْثٌ ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ ، وَمُجَاهِدٍ ، وَبَيَانَ ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ أَنَّهُمْ كَرِهُوا ذَلِكَ .
Ahmad bin Mani' said: Hushaym narrated to us; Ayyub Abu al-Ala' narrated to him, from Abu Sufyan, from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him), that "he disliked that a sacrificial animal be slaughtered by the hand of a non-Muslim (rather, only a Muslim should slaughter it)."
Hushaym narrated to us; Yunus narrated to him from al-Hasan al-Basri (may Allah have mercy on him) a narration of the same meaning.
Hushaym narrated to us; Mughirah narrated to him from Ibrahim al-Nakha'i, and Layth bin Abi Sulaym from Ata' bin Abi Rabah (may Allah have mercy on him), that "the two of them (Ibrahim al-Nakha'i and Ata' bin Abi Rabah) disliked this practice (that is, having the sacrifice slaughtered by the hand of a non-Muslim)."
Hushaym narrated to us; Hajjaj narrated to him, from Qabus, from his father, from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both), a narration of the same meaning as well.
Hushaym narrated to us; Layth narrated to him from Tawus and Mujahid, and Bayan from al-Sha'bi (may Allah have mercy on him), that "all these imams (that is, Tawus, Mujahid and al-Sha'bi) also disliked this (having the sacrifice slaughtered by the hand of a non-Muslim)."
