بَابُ تَحْرِيمِ الحرير عَلَى الرجال وإباحته للنساء وَجَوَازِ بيعه لِمَنْ يجوز لَهُ لبسه

وَقَالَ مُسَدَّدٌ : حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنِ الْمُهَاجِرِ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَالِيَةِ ، أَنَّ سَعْدَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ ، دَخَلَ عَلَى ابْنِ عَامِرٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ ، وَهُوَ مُتَّكِئٌ عَلَى فِرَاشٍ مِنْ سُنْدُسٍ ، فَقَالَ : لَأَنْ أَجْلِسَ عَلَى جَمْرِ الْغَضَا أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ أَنْ أَجْلِسَ عَلَى هَذَا " .
Musaddad says: Hammad bin Zayd narrated to us through al-Muhajir, from Abu al-Aliyah, that Sayyiduna Sa'd bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) went to Ibn Amir (may Allah be pleased with him), and he (Ibn Amir) was reclining on a silk bed. Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Sitting on the glowing embers of ghada wood is dearer to me than sitting on this (silk bed)."
