It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever performed the morning (Fajr) prayer, and then his covenant of protection was harmed (through some wrongdoing), then indeed the sanctuary (sanctity and limits) set aside by Allah Almighty has been treated as lawful to violate, and his right of protection has been betrayed; so I myself am the one who will demand (as claimant) his covenant of protection."
The chain of this hadith contains Yazid bin Aban al-Raqashi, a da'if (weak) narrator; however, its meaning is strengthened by the narration in Sahih Muslim which states that whoever prays the morning prayer is under the protection of Allah.
