It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm al-Hakam (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) returned from one of his military expeditions, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) had obtained some slaves. She and her sister went to Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her), then they all went to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and, complaining to him (peace and blessings be upon him) of their need and want, asked (for a servant). The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The orphans of Badr have become entitled to them before you."
I (Ibn Hajar) say: Imam Abu Dawud also narrated this hadith, but he narrated it through al-Fadl bin al-Hasan from Sayyidah Umm al-Hakam Duba'ah bint al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with her).
