بَابُ مِنْ أسلم عَلَى شَيْءٌ فَهُوَ لَهُ

وَقَالَ الْحَارِثُ : حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، أَنَا الْحَجَّاجُ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْأَعْشَى ، قَالَ : قَضَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْعَبْدِ إِذَا أَسْلَمَ فَجَاءَ مَوْلَاهُ فَأَسْلَمَ فَهُوَ أَحَقُّ بِهِ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-A'sha (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) gave this ruling concerning a slave who accepts Islam and then his master also comes (having become Muslim): "He (the master) has the greater right to him."
