وَقَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ : حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرٌ ، ثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ السَّائِبِ الطَّائِفِيُّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَعِيَّةَ السُّوَائِيِّ ، أَنَّ رَجُلَيْنِ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قُتِلَا عِنْدَ بَابِ بَنِي سَالِمٍ ، فَذُكِرَ ذَلِكَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَأَمَرَ أَنْ يُدْفَنَا حَيْثُ قُتِلَا ، فَاحْتُمِلَا مِنْ حَيْثُ أُصِيبَا ، فَوَافَقَهُمْ ذَلِكَ مَقْبَرَةً عِنْدَ بَنِي هِلَالٍ ، فَدُفِنَا هُنَالِكَ .
It is narrated from Abdullah bin Mu'ayyah al-Suwa'i (may Allah be pleased with him) that two of the Companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) were martyred near the gate of Banu Salim. When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was informed of this, he (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered: "Let the two of them be buried in the very place where they were martyred." So they were carried from the place where they had been wounded, and they came near a graveyard by Banu Hilal, and they were buried there.
