وَقَالَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ : حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، حَدَّثَنِي رَجُلٌ مِنْ آلِ سَهْلِ بْنِ حُنَيْفٍ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ ، عَنْ عَمَّارٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : لَا يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ دَيُّوثٌ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ammar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "No dayyuth (that is, a man who has no sense of honour and protective jealousy regarding the women of his household) will ever enter Paradise."
