وَحَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى : ثَنَا أَبُو خَلْدَةَ ، عَنْ وَاصِلِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ يَقُولُ : السُّكْرُ مِنَ الْكَبَائِرِ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he said: Becoming intoxicated, or bringing on a state of stupor, is among the major sins.
