قَالَ مُسَدَّدٌ : حَدَّثَنَا حُصَيْنُ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، ثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي لَيْلَى ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ قَالَ : " ضَمَّتْ عَائِشَةُ أُمَّ كُلْثُومٍ أُخْتَهَا امْرَأَةَ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمْ ، فَحَجَّتْ بِهَا فِي عِدَّتِهَا ".
It is narrated from Ata (may Allah have mercy on him) that the Mother of the Believers Sayyidah Aishah al-Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) took her sister Sayyidah Umm Kulthum (may Allah be pleased with her), the wife of Sayyiduna Talhah bin Ubaydullah (may Allah be pleased with him), into her care and guardianship (after the death of her husband), and then took her along with her to perform Hajj during the very days of her waiting period ('iddah).
