وَبِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ : إِلَى صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : لَوْ لَمْ يَبْقَ مِنْ أَجَلِي إِلَّا يَوْمٌ وَاحِدٌ لَقِيتُ اللهَ تَعَالَى بِزَوْجَةٍ ; إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " شِرَارُكُمْ عُزَّابُكُمْ " .
هَذَانِ حَدِيثَانِ مُنْكَرَانِ ، وَخَالِدٌ مُتَّهَمٌ بِالْكَذِبِ .

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: Even if only a single day of my life remained, I would still prefer to meet Allah Almighty in the state of being joined in marriage (married); for I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "The worst of you are those who are unmarried (single)."
