وَقَالَ الْحَارِثُ : حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عِيسَى ، حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ ، عَنْ أَبِي هَارُونَ الْعَبْدِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَا جُنَاحَ عَلَى الرَّجُلِ أَنْ يَتَزَوَّجَ بِمَا شَاءَ مِنْ مَالِهِ ، قَلَّ أَوْ كَثُرَ ، إِذَا أَشْهَدَ " .

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There is no harm for a man in marrying with whatever he wishes of his wealth (as dowry), whether that amount is small or large, provided that he takes witnesses (to the marriage)." Besides Imam al-Harith, Muhammad bin Sabiq also narrated this through Sharik.
