حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ قَالَ : سَأَلْتُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنِ النَّبَطِيِّ يُسْلِمُ ، فَيُوَالِي رَجُلًا ، قَالَ: يَرِثُهُ ، وَيَعْقِلُ عَنْهُ .
Mansur (may Allah have mercy on him) says: I asked Imam Ibrahim (may Allah have mercy on him) about a non-Arab (Nabataean) who accepts Islam and then takes a man as his mawla and patron (through a contract of clientage). He said: "He (the patron) will inherit from him and will be responsible for paying blood money on his behalf."
