It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: "Whoever sells a slave who has some property, that property belongs to the seller, unless the buyer stipulates (that he gets it); and whoever sells date palms that have already been pollinated (ta'bir), their fruit belongs to the seller, unless the buyer stipulates it. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) gave this very ruling."
