وَقَالَ الْحَارِثُ : حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ الْمُحَبَّرِ ، ثَنَا مَيْسَرَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ رَبِّهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي عَائِشَةَ السَّعْدِيِّ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ - رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمْ - قَالَا : خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ - صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَذَكَرَ حَدِيثًا طَوِيلًا - وَفِيهِ : وَمَنْ أَكَلَ الرِّبَا مَلَأَ اللهُ بَطْنَهُ نَارًا بِقَدْرِ مَا أَكَلَ ، وَإِنْ كَسَبَ مِنْهُ مَالًا لَمْ يَقْبَلِ اللهُ شَيْئًا مِنْ عَمَلِهِ ، وَلَمْ يَزَلْ فِي لَعْنَةِ اللهِ تَعَالَى وَمَلَائِكَتِهِ مَا دَامَ عِنْدَهُ مِنْهُ قِيرَاطٌ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah and Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the two of them said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) delivered a sermon to us, and mentioned a long hadith in which there is also this: "And whoever consumes usury (riba), Allah Almighty will fill his belly with fire in proportion to the usury he consumed; and if he earned wealth through it, Allah Almighty will not accept any of his deeds; and as long as even one qirat of it remains with him, he will continue to be under the curse of Allah Almighty and His angels."
