وَقَالَ مُسَدَّدٌ : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، حَدَّثَنِي حَمَّادٌ ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ شُرَيْحٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ عُمَرُ - رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ - : الدِّرْهَمُ بِالدِّرْهَمِ ، وَمَا فَضَلَ بَيْنَهُمَا رِبًا .
Musaddad narrated through Yahya, Sufyan, Hammad, Abu Salih and Shurayh that Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "A dirham is exchanged for a dirham (on the basis of equality), and whatever excess there is between the two is usury (riba)."
