مُسَدَّدٌ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي مُحَمَّدٍ ، قَالَ : إِنَّ رَجُلًا أَخَذَ مِنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ - رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا - أَرْضًا ، فَاشْتَرَطَ أَنْ لَا يَجْعَلَ فِيهَا عَذِرَةً ، فَقَالَ : إِنَّهُ لَا يُصْلِحُهَا إِلَّا ذَاكَ . قَالَ : إِنْ كَانَ لَا يُصْلِحُهَا إِلَّا ذَاكَ فَدَعْهَا .
It is narrated from Abu Muhammad (may Allah have mercy on him) that a man obtained a piece of land from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both), and he stipulated that he would not put human excrement on it. The man said: "Indeed, nothing but that improves this land (makes it fertile)." So he said: "If nothing but that improves it, then leave it."
