It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that a man said: "O Messenger of Allah, the sacrifice of a camel was obligatory upon me, and now the sacrificial camels have already been slaughtered (that is, none is available to me), so what do you instruct in this regard?" The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Slaughter seven goats in its (the camel's) place."
