وَقَالَ مُسَدَّدٌ أَيْضًا : حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ - هُوَ الطَّحَّانُ - ثَنَا حُمَيْدٌ - هُوَ الطَّوِيلُ - عَنْ بَكْرٍ - هُوَ ابْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْمُزَنِيُّ - عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ - رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا - قَالَ : مَنْ أَدْرَكَ عَرَفَةَ فَقَدْ أَدْرَكَ الْحَجَّ ، وَمَنْ فَاتَهُ عَرَفَةُ ، فَقَدْ فَاتَهُ الْحَجُّ .
( صَحِيحٌ مَوْقُوفٌ ) .

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he said: "Whoever attains (the standing at) Arafat has indeed attained the Hajj, and whoever misses (the standing at) Arafat, his Hajj has been missed."
