It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, admits three persons into Paradise by means of a single Hajj: the deceased on whose behalf (Hajj in proxy) is performed; the pilgrim who performs this obligation himself; and the person who makes the completion of this Hajj possible through financial assistance or other necessary arrangements."
Imam al-Harith also recorded this narration through another chain, as marfu' (attributed to the Prophet) with the same meaning, in which Isma'il bin Ayyash narrates from Ibrahim bin Shu'ayb al-Madani.
